HOLIDAY ACCOMMODATION AT RUKA AND KUUSAMO

Petäjälammen Turistimajat offers you holiday cottage accommodation at Petäjälampi, near Kuusamo town centre, and at Ruka. During the summer season, the company also runs a campsite at Petäjälampi.

The Petäjälampi rental cottages are located in the vicinity of Kuusamon Tropiikki Tropical Spa and Kuusamo Golf, approx. 5 km from Kuusamo town centre. The cottages are situated near each other, by the shores of Petäjälampi, Niskalampi and Saunajärvi lakes.

At Ruka, the cottages are located at Saarua-aho, near the Vuosseli ski slopes. The cottages are fully equipped for year-round use and they accommodate 2-12 visitors.

At the Petäjälampi campsite there are cottages of various levels ranging from inexpensive cabins to fully equipped holiday cottages. The campsite also includes a park for caravans and campervans, and sites for tents. There is a service building available for the guests. Our customers are welcome to use our pedal cars (for children), bikes and boats.

Campsite at Kuusamo

Petäjälammen Turistimajat is a company that offers holiday cottage accommodation in the vicinity of Kuusamon Tropiikki Tropical Spa and Kuusamo Golf. The distance to Ruka Holiday Resort is approx. 20 km. An easy 200 m walk to a bus stop. Our holiday cottages are located near each other, by the shores of Petäjälampi, Niskalampi and Saunajärvi lakes. The newest of the cottages is a high standard, fully equipped log cottage completed in 2012. There is an easy access to nearby hiking routes and forests, and swimming beaches and fishing waters are right outside the cottages. You can go fishing with a hook-and-line or fishing rod either on the lakeshore or in a boat. Lake Petäjälampi is stocked with salmon, and the catch from Niskalampi and Saunajärvi lakes is mostly perch and roach. There is also a fair opportunity to catch some whitefish or grayling! There are boats and canoes available for the use of our guests. If necessary, we also lend fishing rods and life-vests. The Petäjälampi pine forests are popular mushroom grounds.

We rent high standard, comfortable holiday cottages in the vicinity of Kuusamo town centre, on the shores of Petäjälampi, Niskalampi and Saunajärvi lakes. We also offer accommodation in deadwood cottages at Ruka, Kuusamo, near the ski slopes.
